Terms of service
# GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
**NordiQ Solutions Kft. – Qber**
**Effective from 15 September 2026**
## 1. General provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the purchase of products and services available on the qber.hu website and online store operated by NordiQ Solutions Kft., as well as the use of Qber subscriptions billed monthly or annually.
These GTC apply in particular to the sale of the Qber Remote physical device and the Qber Sticker Pack, the subscription related to the Qber service, the activation, automatic renewal and cancellation of the subscription, and other products and services available in the online store.
The information relating to the relevant offer displayed on the product, ordering, compatibility, activation, delivery and information pages of qber.hu at the time the contract is concluded forms part of the contract. In the event of any discrepancy, the individual terms expressly accepted by the Customer when finalising the order or subscription, as displayed at checkout and in the confirmation, shall prevail, without prejudice to any mandatory rights granted to the Consumer by law.
By finalising the order, the Customer declares that they have reviewed the contents of these GTC before entering into the contract and accept their provisions.
These GTC are continuously available in electronic form on the qber.hu website and can be saved and retrieved by the Customer.

## 4. Qber Remote and its functions
Qber Remote is an electronic and telematics system that can be installed in a vehicle.
The Qber Remote package contains the device indicated on the product page, the cables identified as being included in the package and required for installation, and the SIM card provided for Qber connectivity. The SIM card may be used solely for the intended operation of Qber Remote; removing it, using it in another device or transferring it to a third party is not permitted. The data traffic required for the Qber service is included in an active Subscription.
An active Qber Subscription is required to use Qber Remote’s remote and online functions. The Subscription fee is not included in the one-time purchase price of Qber Remote.
The specific functions available through the device and Qber service may also depend on the technical characteristics of the vehicle. Availability may be affected in particular by the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, equipment, electronic system, communication protocol and technical design.
Accordingly, not all functions are available in the same way in every supported vehicle.
The Service Provider may provide a vehicle compatibility checker and other compatibility information on qber.hu. A compatible result shown in the checker is based on information available in the database; a result stating that “we could not find matching data in our system” does not in itself mean that the vehicle is definitely incompatible. Actual compatibility of a specific vehicle may also be verified during installation and activation.
The gross consumer price of Qber Remote applicable on the effective date of these GTC is:
**HUF 69,000.**
The purchase price actually payable by the Customer is always the price displayed on the product page and at checkout at the time the order is placed.
## 5. Installation of Qber Remote
Professional automotive electronics or auto-electric installation is required for the proper and safe operation of Qber Remote.
The installation service is not included in the HUF 69,000 purchase price of Qber Remote unless a specific offer expressly provides otherwise.
The Customer pays the fee for the installation service directly to the professional carrying out the installation. The installation fee does not pass through NordiQ Solutions Kft.
Where the installer acts as an independent service provider, the service contract for installation is concluded directly between the Customer and the installer.
The Service Provider may assist in arranging an installation appointment or finding a suitable professional; however, this does not in itself make the Service Provider a party to the installation service contract.
The above does not limit the Service Provider’s liability for defects in its own product, its own breach of obligation or any other liability imposed by law.
A fault demonstrably resulting from unprofessional installation, unauthorised modification or improper use does not constitute defective performance by the Service Provider.
## 6. Electronic contracting
Contracts in the online store are concluded in Hungarian.
After selecting the product or service, the Customer may place an order using the cart and checkout.
As part of the Qber ordering process, the Customer selects the Qber Remote device, a monthly or annual subscription plan and may optionally select a Qber Sticker Pack. Selecting a subscription plan during the ordering process does not by itself start subscription billing; finalisation of the Subscription and authorisation of recurring payment take place during the activation process.
Before finalising the order, the Customer has the opportunity to review and correct the information provided and the contents of the order.
By finalising the order, the Customer makes an offer that entails a payment obligation.
The Shopify system sends an automatic electronic confirmation that the order has been received. The automatic confirmation primarily confirms that the Service Provider’s system has received the order.
If the order confirmation is not received by the Customer within 48 hours of submitting the order, the Customer is released from the binding effect of the offer.
The Service Provider accepts the order by processing it or by expressly confirming performance.
A contract concluded through the online store is a contract concluded electronically, does not qualify as a written contract, and is not separately filed by the Service Provider. Order data are recorded by the Service Provider and the Shopify system. The Customer may access order-related information through electronic confirmations and, where applicable, through their customer account.
The Service Provider is not subject to the provisions of any separate code of conduct.
## 7. Prices and tax information
Prices displayed to consumers are final gross prices payable by the Consumer, stated in Hungarian forints.
On the effective date of these GTC, the Service Provider is exempt from VAT under the Hungarian small business VAT exemption regime. Accordingly, VAT is not charged or shown separately on the invoice, and the invoice contains the applicable indication referring to the VAT exemption.
If the Service Provider’s tax status changes in the future, the consumer price displayed on the website and at checkout will continue to be the final amount payable. A change in tax status does not retroactively alter the price of a one-time order already accepted or the fee for a Billing Period already paid. Any change to the future fee of an active Subscription is governed by Section 14.
The total amount payable by the Customer is displayed before the order is finalised.
For orders of physical products, a delivery charge may apply in addition to the product price. The amount depends on the delivery method selected and is displayed before the order is finalised.
The Service Provider may change prices applicable to future orders. A price change does not affect the purchase price of one-time product orders already accepted.
## 8. Payment methods and invoicing
For one-time product purchases, card payment and bank transfer may be available depending on the options actually offered for the relevant order.
Payment of recurring monthly or annual Qber Subscription fees requires a payment method that supports recurring charges. The payment methods actually available for the Subscription are shown at the checkout opened during activation.
For card payments, the payment transaction is processed by a payment service provider connected to the Shopify system. The Service Provider does not process or store the Customer’s complete payment card details.
In the case of bank transfer, processing of the order may be conditional upon the purchase price being credited to the Service Provider’s bank account.
The Service Provider issues electronic invoices for orders and Subscription charges using the Billingo online invoicing system. The invoice is sent to or made available through the email address provided by the Customer. By finalising the order or Subscription, the Customer agrees to receive electronic invoices and must provide a functioning email address to which they have access.
## 9. Delivery and personal collection
Qber Remote and other physical products may be received within Hungary:
- by delivery; or
- by personal collection at a location agreed in advance.
Depending on current availability and the delivery address, the checkout may offer in particular FOXPOST parcel lockers or pickup points, GLS parcel lockers or pickup points, Sameday easybox, and home delivery. Only the delivery methods and charges actually offered at checkout for the relevant order shall apply.
For products in stock, the expected delivery time is generally **3–4 business days**.
In the event of temporary stock shortages, the expected delivery time may generally be **1–2 weeks**.
The current delivery information expressly displayed on the product page or at checkout for the relevant order shall apply.
If the indicated deadline cannot be met due to unforeseen circumstances, the Service Provider will inform the Customer electronically.
The delivery charge depends on the selected delivery method and is displayed at checkout before the order is finalised.
In the case of personal collection, the Service Provider and the Customer agree separately on the exact location and time of collection.
## 10. The Qber Subscription
The Qber Subscription is a service of indefinite duration consisting of automatically renewing monthly or annual Billing Periods according to the selected plan. The minimum duration of the Customer’s commitment is the one-month or twelve-month Billing Period selected and paid in advance.
There is no minimum commitment period extending beyond the selected and already paid Billing Period, and no separate cancellation fee is charged. However, selecting the annual plan means that the Customer pays the fee for a full twelve-month period in advance.
The plans available on the effective date of these GTC are:
### 10.1. Qber Semi-Automatic Monthly Subscription
The standard monthly subscription fee is **HUF 9,990/month**.
For a Customer eligible for the introductory offer in effect on the effective date of these GTC:
- fee for the 1st monthly Billing Period: **HUF 4,990**;
- fee for the 2nd monthly Billing Period: **HUF 4,990**;
- fee for the 3rd monthly Billing Period: **HUF 4,990**;
- from the 4th monthly Billing Period: **HUF 9,990/month**.
The discount is available subject to the eligibility conditions displayed at checkout. After the discounted period expires, the Subscription automatically continues at the standard monthly fee disclosed when the contract was concluded unless cancelled by the Customer.
### 10.2. Qber Semi-Automatic Annual Subscription
The annual subscription fee is **HUF 94,392/year**, which is the price of one full twelve-month Billing Period and is payable in a single amount at the beginning of the annual period.
The introductory discount applicable to the first three months of the monthly plan does not apply to the annual plan unless a specific offer shown at checkout expressly provides otherwise.
The Customer is in all cases subject to the specific subscription offer displayed on the product page, activation page and at checkout when the Subscription is finalised.
## 11. Subscription activation
Ordering and paying for Qber Remote and making a preliminary plan selection on the ordering page do not by themselves start the Billing Period of the Qber Subscription.
After payment for the Qber Remote order, the Service Provider may send the Customer a unique activation link. The activation link may be linked to a specific person, order and device and must therefore be kept confidential by the Customer and must not be shared with any unauthorised person.
During the activation process, the Customer selects or confirms the monthly or annual plan, accepts the Subscription terms, provides a payment method suitable for recurring payments and finalises the Subscription in Shopify’s secure checkout.
The service and billing period of the Qber Subscription begins on the day on which Qber Remote is successfully activated.
Following proper installation and successful connection to the Qber system, a **“Device activated”** event is recorded in the Qber backend.
The date of the **“Device activated”** event is the first day of the first monthly or annual Billing Period of the Subscription.
The first monthly or annual subscription fee becomes due upon activation. No subscription fee is charged for the period before activation.
Subsequent Billing Periods and renewal dates generally follow the Activation Date.
For example, if a monthly Subscription is activated on 17 September, the next monthly Billing Period will generally begin on 17 October. In the case of an Annual Subscription, the next annual Billing Period will generally begin on 17 September of the following year. If the relevant month does not contain a calendar day corresponding to the Activation Date, the charge may be made on the nearest applicable date determined by the payment system.
If the device is not activated, Subscription billing does not begin.
Failure to activate the device does not in itself affect the contract for the purchase of Qber Remote or the Customer’s statutory rights relating to that purchase.
## 12. Automatic renewal and payment
The monthly Qber Subscription automatically renews for a further one-month period at the end of each one-month Billing Period, while the annual Qber Subscription automatically renews for a further twelve-month period at the end of each twelve-month Billing Period, until terminated by the Customer or the Service Provider in accordance with these GTC and applicable law.
When creating the Subscription, the Customer authorises the due monthly or annual subscription fee to be charged automatically to the selected payment method suitable for recurring payments at the beginning of each Billing Period.
Automatic renewal means that, unless cancelled, the fee for the next Billing Period is charged automatically on the renewal date. The Customer may avoid the next charge by cancelling the Subscription before the next renewal date.
If a payment fails, the payment system may retry the charge.
In the event of a failed payment, the Service Provider may provide a short grace period during which the service may continue to operate. In the event of continued payment failure or outstanding fees, the Service Provider may restrict or suspend access to the subscription service until the amount due is paid, or terminate the Subscription, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
## 13. Cancellation of the Subscription
The Customer may cancel the automatic renewal of the Qber Subscription at any time. Ordinary cancellation under this Section is not the same as the Consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal or termination exercisable within 14 days under Sections 22–26.
Cancellation should primarily be initiated through the customer account available within the Shopify system.
If cancellation cannot be completed through the customer account for technical reasons, the Customer may request cancellation at **szamlazas@qber.hu**. The Service Provider will confirm the cancellation electronically.
### 13.1. Cancellation of a Monthly Subscription
Ordinary cancellation of a Monthly Subscription takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly Billing Period. The service remains available until that date, and the fee for the next monthly Billing Period will not be charged.
The fee for a monthly Billing Period that has already begun and has been lawfully charged will not be refunded on a pro rata basis in the case of ordinary cancellation.
### 13.2. Cancellation of an Annual Subscription
Ordinary cancellation of an Annual Subscription takes effect at the end of the current paid twelve-month Billing Period. The service remains available until the last day of the annual period, and the Subscription will not renew for the following year.
The fee for an annual Billing Period that has already begun and has been lawfully charged will not be refunded in full or on a pro rata basis solely because the Customer no longer wishes to use the service before the end of the annual period.
### 13.3. Common rules on cancellation
If the fee for a new Billing Period has already been successfully charged on the renewal date, ordinary cancellation prevents the next renewal; the above refund rules apply to the Billing Period already begun.
Deleting the Qber App, requesting deletion of the user account, ceasing to use Qber Remote, selling the vehicle or removing the device from the vehicle does not in itself constitute cancellation of the Subscription.
The User must notify the Service Provider without undue delay if the owner or registered keeper of the vehicle equipped with Qber Remote changes, if the vehicle is sold, if the device is removed, or if the User wishes to transfer the device to another vehicle.
In such cases, for security and data-protection reasons, the Service Provider may temporarily restrict remote-control and data-access functions associated with the relevant vehicle until the new entitlement relationships have been verified.
When the Subscription ends or the paid Billing Period expires, Qber Remote connectivity and Qber App functions linked to the Subscription may cease or become restricted.
This does not limit the Consumer’s statutory rights of withdrawal, termination, warranty or other rights.
If the Customer withdraws their selection of a subscription plan before the device is activated, no subscription fee is charged.
## 14. Changes to the subscription fee
The Service Provider may change the fee applicable to newly concluded subscriptions for the future.
A fee change affecting an already active Subscription may only be applied to a future Billing Period in compliance with applicable law and after prior notice to the Customer. The fee change does not affect a monthly or annual Billing Period already paid for.
The Service Provider will notify the Customer electronically of any change affecting the fee of an active Subscription before the change takes effect.
The Customer may cancel the Subscription before the first charge at the amended fee. For an Annual Subscription, the new fee may apply no earlier than the next annual renewal.
## 15. Operation of the Qber digital service
Operation of the Qber service may require, among other things, internet connectivity, mobile data communication, GNSS/GPS signal, cloud-based IT services, external communication networks, and proper operation of Qber Remote and the vehicle.
Depending on the selected plan, vehicle compatibility and technical conditions, services available in the Qber App may include in particular remote locking and unlocking, live or near-real-time location, display of vehicle-status data, event notifications, and photo-based vehicle handover and documentation functions. The specific functions available to the Customer are determined by the product and service description available when the Subscription is finalised.
The Service Provider endeavours to maintain high service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted, 100% availability.
Temporary service interruptions may be caused in particular by network or internet connection failure, lack of mobile network coverage, lack of GPS/GNSS signal, outage of an external provider, maintenance, updates, the condition of the vehicle’s electrical system, power-supply or communication problems affecting Qber Remote, or force majeure.
Execution of remote-control commands may therefore depend on the technical and network conditions existing at the relevant time.
The Qber service is not an emergency-call, life-safety or guaranteed-availability security service.
The vehicle operator must ensure that an appropriate alternative method of access or operation is available in the event of a technical fault or service outage.
Location, odometer, fuel/charge level, door, lighting, fault-code and other vehicle data displayed in the Qber system are based on data made available by the vehicle or detected by Qber Remote. The update frequency and accuracy of such data may vary by vehicle and may therefore differ from the current values displayed on the vehicle dashboard or in another system.
## 16. Vehicle security and unauthorised use
Certain functions of Qber Remote and the Qber service – including in particular remote locking and unlocking, location tracking, vehicle-status information, notifications and additional security functions available for the relevant vehicle – may assist in monitoring vehicle use and reducing the risk of unauthorised use.
However, Qber Remote and the Qber service do not constitute an anti-theft or asset-protection system that guarantees prevention of vehicle break-in, theft, unauthorised use or damage.
The Qber service does not replace:
- appropriate vehicle insurance, including in particular comprehensive CASCO insurance;
- factory-installed or aftermarket mechanical and electronic vehicle security systems;
- or security measures that may reasonably be expected from the vehicle owner or operator.
The availability of location or other Qber data does not in itself guarantee that a stolen vehicle will be found or recovered.
In the event of suspected vehicle theft or another criminal offence, the User must take the necessary official measures and, where appropriate, notify the police and their insurer.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable merely because the vehicle is broken into, stolen, used without authorisation or damaged despite the use of Qber Remote or the Qber service.
This does not affect the Service Provider’s liability where the loss results from defective performance by the Service Provider, unlawful conduct by the Service Provider, failure to implement a mandatory security measure, or another circumstance for which the Service Provider is liable under applicable law.
## 17. Updates and modification of the digital service
The Service Provider provides the updates necessary to maintain the contractual conformity of the digital service, including required security updates, for the period prescribed by law.
The Service Provider may develop the Qber service and modify its technical elements in particular for security reasons, bug fixing, technological changes, legal compliance, changes to external systems or APIs, and to improve service performance or usability.
In the event of a non-minor modification that adversely affects the Consumer, the Service Provider will act in accordance with the applicable consumer-protection rules and, where required by law, will provide an option to terminate the contract free of charge.
## 18. Account security and access credentials
For the security of the Qber account and the remote vehicle-control functions associated with it, the User must adequately protect:
- login credentials;
- password;
- the email account linked to the account;
- mobile phone and other devices capable of being used for login;
- and any access methods provided through the application or otherwise.
The User must not disclose access credentials to an unauthorised person or store them in a manner that could reasonably enable unauthorised acquisition.
The User acknowledges that a person who gains unauthorised access to the Qber account may, depending on the permissions assigned to the account and the technical capabilities of the vehicle, gain access to vehicle data or initiate remote vehicle-control operations.
If the User detects or reasonably suspects that:
- their Qber account has been accessed without authorisation;
- their password or other access credentials have come into the possession of an unauthorised person;
- their mobile phone or other authentication device has been lost or stolen;
- or another security incident has occurred,
the User must immediately notify the Service Provider at **info@qber.hu** and take security measures that can reasonably be expected of them, including in particular changing their password.
The Service Provider is not liable for the consequences of unauthorised access resulting from the User’s own culpable conduct, unless the Service Provider’s own omission, for which it is liable under law, also contributed to the loss event.
## 19. Security incidents and temporary restrictions
To protect the security of the Qber system, the User and the vehicle, the Service Provider may temporarily restrict or suspend access to the Qber account or certain functions where:
- unauthorised access is suspected;
- unusual or security-sensitive activity is detected;
- the User’s access credentials may have been compromised;
- abuse, fraud or unlawful use is suspected;
- or the restriction is reasonably necessary to protect the security of the system, vehicle, User or another person.
The restriction may in particular affect remote unlocking, locking, start-enablement or other vehicle-control functions.
The Service Provider applies the restriction only to the extent and for the duration necessary and, where the circumstances permit, informs the User of the restriction and its reason.
The Service Provider may make restoration of access conditional on additional identity or entitlement verification.
## 20. Communication and remote-control limitations
Qber remote-control functions require the interaction of mobile communication, internet, cloud and vehicle-electronics systems.
The User acknowledges that a remote command may:
- arrive with delay;
- fail;
- not be executable in every case;
- or be accompanied by delayed feedback or temporarily inaccurate status information.
This may be caused in particular by:
- lack of or weak mobile network coverage;
- internet connection failure;
- temporary cloud-service outage;
- lack of device power supply;
- the electronic state of the vehicle;
- the device being asleep or temporarily unable to communicate;
- radio interference;
- or another circumstance outside the Service Provider’s direct control.
The User must therefore not rely exclusively on Qber remote-control functions in situations where immediate or guaranteed access to the vehicle is required.
A successful command submission shown in the Qber system does not in every case mean that the vehicle has physically performed the requested operation; where technically available, confirmed vehicle status provides a more accurate indication of execution.
Third-party electronic, telematics, alarm, immobiliser, diagnostic or other systems already installed in the vehicle or installed later may affect the operation of Qber Remote. The Service Provider does not guarantee simultaneous compatibility with all such systems and is not liable for faults demonstrably caused by such a third-party device or its malfunction.
## 21. Security updates
The Service Provider provides updates necessary to maintain the contractual conformity of Qber Remote and the Qber digital service – including required security updates – in accordance with applicable law.
Updates may affect in particular:
- the Qber application;
- the Qber backend;
- Qber Remote firmware;
- security mechanisms;
- communication protocols;
- and integrations with external systems.
The User must cooperate in installing required updates and must not unreasonably prevent automatically applied security updates.
If, despite having been properly informed, the User fails to install a required update made available within a reasonable period, the Service Provider will not be liable, subject to the conditions laid down by law, for any defect resulting solely from failure to install that update.
## 22. Consumer’s 14-day right of withdrawal and termination
In the case of a distance contract, the Consumer is generally entitled to withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days or, in the case of services, to terminate the contract within 14 days.
For the purchase of goods – such as Qber Remote or the Qber Sticker Pack – the withdrawal period generally expires 14 days after the day on which the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.
The Consumer may also exercise the right of withdrawal before taking possession of the goods.
In the case of a service contract, the 14-day period begins on the date the contract is concluded.
The no-refund rules applicable to ordinary cancellation under Section 13 do not apply to the extent that the Consumer exercises the statutory right of withdrawal or termination under this Section lawfully and within the applicable time limit.
The Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal or termination by an unambiguous statement, by using the model statement attached to these GTC, or through the online withdrawal function provided on qber.hu.
The withdrawal/termination statement may also be sent by email to:
**szamlazas@qber.hu**
or by post to:
NordiQ Solutions Kft.
1038 Budapest, Pusztakúti út 10/b. 3/5., Hungary
The Consumer exercises the right within the applicable time limit if the statement is sent before that time limit expires.
## 23. Online withdrawal function
Throughout the withdrawal period, a clearly visible and easily accessible electronic withdrawal function is provided to Consumers on the qber.hu website.
Direct URL of the withdrawal function: https://qber.hu/en/pages/elallas
Name of the function:
**“Withdrawal from Contract”**
On the online interface, the Consumer may provide their intention to withdraw, their name, information necessary to identify the relevant contract and their electronic contact details for confirmation of the withdrawal.
Name of the final submission function:
**“Confirm withdrawal”**
The Service Provider acknowledges receipt of the electronic withdrawal notice on a durable medium without undue delay, and the confirmation includes the date and time at which the statement was received.
## 24. Return of physical products following withdrawal
In the event of withdrawal, the Consumer must return or hand over the relevant physical product – including in particular Qber Remote or the Qber Sticker Pack – to the Service Provider without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.
Return address:
NordiQ Solutions Kft.
1038 Budapest, Pusztakúti út 10/b. 3/5., Hungary
The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Consumer unless the Service Provider expressly agrees to bear that cost.
The Consumer is liable only for diminished value resulting from use exceeding what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
Any change in condition caused by actual installation in the vehicle, wiring or removal following installation that goes beyond what is necessary for testing may be taken into account when determining diminished value.
Merely opening the product packaging does not in itself terminate the Consumer’s right of withdrawal.
## 25. Refund following withdrawal
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the Service Provider refunds the amount required to be refunded to the Consumer without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice.
In the case of the sale of goods, the Service Provider may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the Consumer has provided reliable evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The refund includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the Service Provider. If the Consumer selected a more expensive delivery method, the Service Provider is not required to refund the additional cost.
As a general rule, the refund is made using the same payment method as the original transaction unless the Consumer expressly agrees to another refund method.
## 26. Commencement of the Qber service within the 14-day period
If Qber Remote is to be activated, and the performance of the Qber service is therefore to begin, before the expiry of the 14-day period calculated from the conclusion of the service contract, the Service Provider begins performance at the Consumer’s express request.
If the Consumer has requested that performance begin and subsequently exercises the statutory right to terminate within the 14-day period, the Consumer must pay the proportionate price of the service performed up to the date on which termination is communicated, provided the statutory conditions for doing so are met. The Service Provider refunds the portion of the prepaid monthly or annual fee exceeding the proportionate value of the service already performed.
The right of withdrawal relating to the Qber Remote physical product and the right of termination relating to the Qber Subscription may be exercised under different rules.
## 27. Statutory warranty for defective performance
In the event of defective performance by the Service Provider, the Consumer is entitled to statutory warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code and applicable consumer-protection legislation.
Where the statutory conditions are met, the Consumer may request repair or replacement and may, under the conditions laid down by law, be entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract.
Mandatory statutory warranty rules may not be derogated from to the detriment of the Consumer.
The existence of a guarantee does not affect the Consumer’s statutory warranty rights under applicable law.
## 28. Product warranty
In the event of a defect in movable goods, the Consumer may also, where the statutory conditions are met, assert a product-warranty claim against the manufacturer of the product.
Under a product-warranty claim, the Consumer may primarily request repair or replacement of the defective product.
The exercise of product-warranty rights is governed by the provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code in force from time to time.
A product-warranty claim may be asserted within two years from the date on which the manufacturer placed the product on the market; after this period expires, the entitlement ceases.
## 29. Mandatory guarantee for Qber Remote
The Service Provider treats the Qber Remote product in accordance with the rules on mandatory guarantees.
Based on the gross consumer price of Qber Remote of HUF 69,000, the mandatory guarantee period is:
**2 years.**
As a general rule, the guarantee period begins on the day Qber Remote is handed over to the Consumer.
If commissioning is carried out by the Service Provider, its agent or another person authorised to perform commissioning, the guarantee period begins on the date of commissioning.
If the Consumer has Qber Remote commissioned more than six months after handover, the guarantee period begins on the date Qber Remote was handed over to the Consumer.
The Service Provider provides the guarantee certificate required by law to the Consumer. The guarantee certificate may also be provided electronically.
Failure to provide a guarantee certificate, or irregular issuance of one, does not terminate mandatory guarantee rights.
## 30. Reporting guarantee and statutory warranty claims
Guarantee or statutory warranty claims may be reported at:
**support@qber.hu**
To facilitate faster handling of the report, it is advisable to provide the Customer’s name, order identifier, device identifier, vehicle type, a brief description of the fault and the date on which the fault was detected.
The Service Provider will then provide information on the required inspection, repair, replacement or other available remedy.
When handling guarantee and statutory warranty claims, the Service Provider acts in accordance with the mandatory consumer-protection rules in force from time to time.
## 31. Purchases by businesses
Both individuals and businesses may make purchases in the qber.hu online store.
Special provisions of these GTC applicable to consumers – in particular the 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal – generally apply only to persons qualifying as Consumers under applicable law.
This does not affect cases where legislation extends specific consumer-protection rights to other persons or organisations.
Subject to the conditions laid down by applicable law, mandatory guarantee rules may also apply to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises acting outside the scope of their trade, independent occupation or business activity.
## 32. Customer obligations
